There have been several incidents. Most notably, gnomes like to wander, show up where they are not expected, and take their time during transport. Thank you all for doing your best to keep them in line.

We have a few casualties to report. The children at Ralph Ellison have hidden Whitwalt Scribblesmith so well, we fear he is lost to us forever. Thankfully, newcomer Mert the Gnome has agreed to finish off his library tour. Mert's bio and picture will be up on the website soon. He is en route to Southern Oaks and will also visit AL, ED, and LU before the end of the summer.

Greeble broke his mushroom. We think he was upset about having to leave the Village Library, where they fed him free pasta salad. Annie at Northwest patched him up, but please be careful with him, as he is physically (and mentally) much more fragile now.
