An eligible employee may be awarded a merit increase based upon their annual review score and the budgeted award amount according to the following table:

3.21 to 3.49 | 2.50 |
3.00 to 3.20 | 2.00 |
2.85 to 2.99 | 1.50 |
1.00 to 2.84 | 0.00 |
If the award of a determined merit increase would cause an employee’s salary to exceed
the maximum for their pay grade, the portion of the increase amount in excess of their pay
grade cap shall be awarded to the employee as a lump sum bonus equal to 100% of
the value of this excess award amount.
If an employee is given a Does Not Meet Expectations (DNME) in one or more review categories, the employee receives no merit increase regardless of their overall review score.
