Update from Marketing and Communications

Print

We wanted to take this time to thank everyone for the kindness they've shown us over the last couple weeks and extend an opportunity to pay tribute to our fearless leader, Angel. We know how many lives she touched, and we’d like to pay tribute to her by sharing memories. If you have any memories that stand out, any photos, or want to offer a few sentences in her memory, we would love to hear it. Feel free to send it our way at [email protected] or put your tribute in the comments of this post, and we’ll compile them and upload them to the intranet.

More updates from your MAC team -

  • Please make sure you have your events added into Library Market in time to have them featured in the December Info Mag! Make sure that you have your events in Library Market by Nov. 10 at the latest, as that is when we will have events finalized.
  • If you haven’t already set up your payroll deductions, check your email for a message from [email protected] for information on how to sign up.
  • We’re always looking for people who are willing to be on camera for library commercials, videos, photos, and more. If you can think of some library regulars (especially families) who you think would be willing to appear in a commercial or be a part of a promotional photo shoot, please shoot their information to [email protected]! Over the next few months, if you can also just be thinking of anyone else who would be interested in an opportunity like this, let us know!
  • We’re working on building up our photo bank of EVERYTHING library-related. If you have photos of any regular library events, special programming, or even just a photo of staff together or helping customers, we want them all! Please send any photos to [email protected]!
  • If you have any small or large marketing needs like printing posters, ordering stickers, designing posters, updating an existing design, creating a "closed" poster, ordering business cards, or if you'd like to meet with the MAC department to find out what we can do for you, send in a request with this form!  We will try to get your request completed WITHIN 30 DAYS! Please send an editable PDF or a Canva link when asking for designs to be printed, and make sure your poster has the date, time, and location of your events(s) as well as the website (metrolibrary.org) and the relevant phone number.
