Project team applications are now open for the following projects and services:

*Only accepting applications for Project Team Lead.  The remainder of the group will be made up of EPS & DVS staff. 

 

Application Information

Engagement Specialists and Librarians  

  • Make sure that you read this Intranet post from December 19. 
  • See below for scope charts and anticipated time commitment information and application link.  
  • Discuss your interest in serving on a specific project team with your direct supervisor and library manager.  
  • You may apply to serve on as many project teams as you would like.  If selected, we will only place you on one project team for this quarter. 

Engagement Managers

  • Discuss your interest in leading a specific project team with your library manager. 
  • Apply to lead a project team by clicking on the link in your email.
  • You may apply to lead on as many project teams as you would like.  If selected, we will only place you on one project team for this quarter. 
  • If an individual you supervise applies for a project team, you will receive an email with a link to complete a reference form.  These references are due on Sunday, January 20th.

Library Managers

  • Make sure that you read this Intranet post from December 19.  
  • See below for scope charts and anticipated time commitment information for staff participation.  
  • If an individual you supervise applies to lead a project team, you will receive an email with a link to complete a reference form.  These references are due on Sunday, January 20th.
  • You will also receive a notification every time an individual from your library applies.  You will not have to complete a reference form for those you do not directly supervise.

 

Application Timeline      

  • Applications will be accepted Friday, January 4 through Sunday, January 13.   
  • Manager and Supervisor reference forms due Sunday, January 20.    
  • Applications will be reviewed Tuesday, January 22 through Wednesday, January 23.     
  • All applicants will be notified of their project team status on Thursday, January 24.      
  • Quarter 1 project teams for 2019 will be announced on Friday, January 25.  
 

Project Team Logistics      

  • Project teams will be comprised of 3 to 6 people.      
  • Project teams will meet weekly either in person or digitally.     
  • Each project team will be led by an Engagement Manager.     
  • A representative from EPS will serve on every project team to help steer and provide strategic consistency.    
 

Project Team Deliverables  

 Project teams will be developing the systemwide programs/services outlined in the Engagement Recommendations & Project Proposal report. Specifically, project teams will research and develop the following program components for their specific program/service:    
  • Best Practices 
  • Training Needs  
  • Marketing Plans  
  • Implementation Plans  
  • Assessment & Evaluation  
  • Budget  
  • Resources, Kits, or other Materials  

 


 

Quarter 1 Projects/Services: Scope Charts and Time Commitment

24-42 hours over the course of three months (February-April 2019)  

Workgroup will meet six times in person throughout the duration of the workgroup. (1-2 hours per meeting; 6-12 hours total). All other check-ins/meetings will be done remotely (1 hour per week; 6 hours total).   

Workgroup participants should expect to spend 1-2 hours a week working independently on assignments from the work group. (1-2 hours per week; 12-24 hours total). Total anticipated time commitment is 24-42 hours over a 12-week period.

Workgroup participants should expect to spend 1-2 hours a week working independently on assignments from the work group. (1-2 hours per week; 8-16 hours total). Total anticipated time commitment is 16-28 hours over an 8-week period.
