Learning and Development is excited to announce four additional Technology Basics Workshops for September! 

Were you wanting to enroll in a technology basics workshop but saw that there was a waitlist?  Well, there are seats for you in a September workshop!

Technology Basics Workshop - 09/04/2019 - 5:00-7:30pm - BI Room B
Technology Basics Workshop - 09/18/2019 - 1:00-3:30pm - BI Room B
Technology Basics Workshop - 09/18/2019 - 5:00-7:30pm - RE Room B

Upon completion of this workshop, staff will be able to:

• Help customers make a PC reservation or make it for them
• Assist customers with all basic functions of email
• Make a recommendation for a specific email provider based on the needs of the individual customer
• Save, upload, and print from a flash drive
• Use all functions of our copy/fax machines
• Recommend PrinterOn to customers who bring their own laptop/smartphone
• Troubleshoot common computer problems
• Feel confident when helping a customer with any technology or computer problem

If this sounds like something you would like to learn about, please get supervisor approval and then enroll through EduBrite! 

Here are the steps to enroll:

1.         Login to EduBrite

2.         Go to “Course Catalog”

3.         Search for Technology Basics Workshop (You will see an August and September course- make sure to click September for the new workshops!)

4.         Click “Enroll” -> OK

5.         Click on “Events” tab

6.         Find the event you want to attend and click “Enroll”

You can also go to upcoming events on your EduBrite dashboard and find the event you want to attend and click “Enroll.”
