Attention - EduBrite Deactivation Friday, September 9th

Recently, our learning management system (LMS), EduBrite, was purchased by LinkedIn Learning. As a result of the acquisition, EduBrite has decided to discontinue services.

What does that mean for MLS? Effective at the close of business on Friday, September 9, 2022, EduBrite will no longer be available to staff. Learning and Development (L&D) will export all course completion data currently in EduBrite the week of September 12^th.  Our goal is to import this data into the new LMS for staff access moving forward.

With that said here are a few critical pieces of information to note:

• Third quarter safety training, Hazardous Communication, must be completed by the close of business on Friday, September 9, 2022. With EduBrite shutting down there cannot be any exceptions.
• Staff are encouraged to go into EduBrite and print/save their transcripts on or before September 9 for their own record keeping.

• XChange Members, will want to go in and pull down their direct reports training records on or before September 9 to assist in completing each staff member’s annual performance development review.  Performance Development started November 1, 2021.

Learning and Development is working diligently to find another provider for the System. Our goal is select a new LMS vendor by the end of September.  We will send out additional information, including a timeline for implementation once details have been finalized.
