All Things New - Early Literacy Roundup

Greetings fellow parents and caregivers of young readers! It’s officially 2016 and the dawning of a new year is almost universally a time in which we pause to reflect on the year that was. But, if you’re a resolution-maker, I wish you all the courage and strength it takes to reach your goals. I wish I was an expert about such things and could offer some useful advice, but sadly I am just a librarian with a stack of excellent children’s literature perched atop my desk that I’m anxious to share! Let’s get to it, shall we? The following lists celebrate all things new, refreshed, or otherwise transformed. I hope this year you’ll resolve to share a story or three with a young reader and I hope you’ll feel refreshed by these stories that celebrate new beginnings!
