TLC is Recommended ILS Vendor

The Finance committee will meet to discuss the recommendation of an ILS Vendor on Monday, November 11 and the topic will be on the November 21 agenda for the Commission. Once a decision is approved by the Commission, the Library will begin negotiating a contract with the vendor. Be sure to read the MLC Finance packet because in it is information on how we arrived at the decision on which ILS vendor to recommend for MLS.

- attended the 3 days of demos

- staffed the locations while others attended the demos
- helped prepare for all the behind the scenes for the demos & guests

The Finance Committee approved the administrative recommendation to begin contract negotiations with TLC. This recommendation will be forwarded to the Commission at its meeting on November 21. Contract negotiations will begin upon commission approval with the actual contract to be awarded in December.

The general feeling was that all 3 products had many positives. I think we're all happy that a decision has been made. Let the training begin!
Yesterday the Commission approved the recommendation to begin contract negotiations with TLC. MLS has started contract negotiations and hope to have the contract awarded at the December Commission meeting.
