Updated Date: 2012/June.The Library's long-standing decision is that lotion is not stocked in the supply room nor is the cost reimbursable to employees.
In 2006 we modified the decision on purchasing/reimbursing facial tissues (i.e. Kleenex). Tissue may be purchased and reimbursed so long as the following conditions are met:
•the tissue needs to be placed out of public sight on the public floor
•for parent/child workshops, the tissue may be set out for their use
In 1993 the decision was that Tylenol and Aspirin are considered personal items and are not stocked in the supply room nor is the cost reimbursable to employees. This decision was upheld in 1997. Note: the first aid kits do include bandaids and aspirin.
